Daleen & Chloe invited us to join them for “trick or treating” in their sub division since it is full of young families and so most homes are prepared for the candy assault at sunset Our triplet friends joined in and so with Chloe, Megan, Cezanne, Etienne, Mitchel, Brandon & Tatum we had a full troop of candy collectors.

On a whim we turned regular pancakes into special orange “pumpkin” pancakes and then we even “carved” our own Jack-o-lanterns into our “pumpkin” pancakes.

Cezanne’s annual Fall / Halloween School Concert and this year I was able to attend and this year Cezanne decided she wanted to be a Barbie Musketeer. She really got into her persona and gave use very detailed instructions as to what she needed. A pink dress with a skirt that turns into a cape, a pink hat with one white feather, a mask with twirls and curls, a pair of pink musketeer boots and of course a sword.

After Etienne’s party we had a few monster decorations lying around and Cezanne created a little game for herself this morning… She stuck the monsters on the wall and then using the sword prop from her musketeer costume “attacked” them until they hit the floor and she celebrated with a musketeer flourish !

The Morton Arboretum held its annual fall festival and we went along with friends Chloe & Megan. We also met playgroup friends and had a great time running around and exploring the well known children’s garden.

Lanelle and I were working in the study when we heard bumping sounds coming from the living room. When we inspected we found we had been missing a very special performance… Cezanne was dancing on the table to the songs on one of her favorite Wiggles episode. We then asked that she repeat the performance for us so we could capture it…

The fall season is full of special events the first one we attended was Boo at the Brookfield Zoo. We joined friends Chloe & Megan and the rest of the playgroup for a day of running around the zoo in costume. I am not sure how many animals were actually seen, but we did get a chance to see the new bear habitat which is awesome and well worth checking out !!

A bit of a tradition here, going to Johansen’s Farm for Fall Fun with the one playgroup… A petting zoo, inflatable slides, corn maze, hay tunnel, hay ride, fall train ride and pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. I was able to take exactly 1 photo before the camera battery ran out of juice… Others from the playgroup did take pictures and I will add those when we get them…
