Party Fever

So we missed a party the previous week due to a fever, cough and really just plain bad flu which we now think was just more teeth ! Only one more to go and then we are done with teeth. Oh how they upset our little sweet pea…

Anyway, all better now and we were able to go to Abigail’s birthday party. Aunty Jana did a fantastic job and it was a super party.

Cezanne did not throw up just before we arrived this time. She had a blast and we hung out until well after her bedtime.

Otherwise life continues, summer is slipping away and before we know it fall will be hear and winter will be moving in. With this sad fact etched in our minds we do try and play outside as much as possible, swimming and sliding and getting dirty. All this outside play and resulted in Cezanne picking up a nice little tan, clearly she has her mother’s skin and not her “white” father’s.

The curious nature continues to question every action we do and where we are when we are not in eyesight; ‘wacha dooin’ Daddy ?’ or ‘where Mommy ?’. Her manipulation skills have also improved, she now asks to go ‘eat, eat’ first thing in the morning knowing full well that it results in being placed in her seat and then she gets to ask for her TV and show of choice ( Fifi, Caillou or the dreaded Teletubbies ) With her not eating all that well, we have found that a little televised distraction allows us to get most of her breakfast in her with out much of a fight and getting her fed is a higher priority than not exposing her to gamma rays or La La, Dipsy, Tinky Winky or Po…
