CLAP YOUR HANDS !

Yes, Cezanne can now clap hands and she learned to do it in only 3 days ! Late last week Lanelle started sitting with Cezanne and clapping and singing with her. Yesterday at breakfast she actually clapped hands while neither Lanelle nor I were looking. I only caught a glimps of it out of the corner of my eye while I was preparing her food so I tried to encourage her to do it again. I did get a few claps and so clapped my hands which caused her to clap hers.

This morning after the first feeding and nap, Cezanne showed off her new found skill and I was able to get it on video.

As if that was not enough, we left her in the child care center at Church today for the first time. To our surprise she really took to it well, not crying or making much of a fuss. We both hope that this is how all future “deposits” will go

Cezanne is off to Mini Gym today with Mommy. Not sure how she will enjoy it since it is right at nap time but since she seems to love exploring new areas and other babies it should be all she needs to forget about nap time !

Cezanne also got a special “Thank You” from her friend Zack in the U.K. today. We sent Zack a gift for his 1st Birthday and here is the letter we got in return. It was so cool I just had to post it.
